Kate Schmid, longtime Boulder, Colorado, USA Leader, passed away on March 27, 2024. Kate was extremely devoted to La Leche League. Kate led with the Boulder Group since 2000, and as a warm and kind soul with the experience of breastfeeding her own five children, she always had supportive words for so many mothers coming through our Group. In fact, she always seemed to have just the right word to soothe mothers! Kate also served as DA with the Mountain Plains and before that the Colorado/Wyoming Areas on and off for many years and had LLL in her heart.
