Our monthly online Chat for Friends of LLL members is one of our most popular programs. The topic in September will be “Home.” What does the word “home” mean to you? Where do you live now? When and why did you move there? What do you like about living where you do? What helps make a house, apartment, residence, or suite a “home”? When you think of home, do you think of the place you live now, where you lived in your childhood, a place in between, or a combination of places?

We are looking for people to lead discussions in the fall. Here are suggestions for topics:
October: LLL around the world. It’s the 70th anniversary of LLLI, and we would love for a few people outside the USA to talk about LLL in their countries.
November: Family reunions and gatherings. It’s great when the extended family can get together every summer or two or during holidays. How do you organize the gathering? What do you do?
December: Holiday recipes. It would also be good to share some recipes in Continuum, so it would be helpful to have someone to compile emailed recipes as well as someone to facilitate.
Also, in 2027 Alice Ziring will be sharing tips for cruises.
We welcome people who are interested in leading discussions on meaningful topics anytime, and especially in early 2027. Tell us about your commitments, your challenges, your unique experiences at a time that works for you. We suggest a 10-minute talk or presentation (we can help with slides and links) followed by a round-robin or popcorn style discussion and an open chat box.
