We hope that the recent and upcoming holidays you celebrate bring you lovely family gatherings, long winter’s naps, moments of quiet reflection, your favourite food and music, traditional festivities and casual fun times! Everyone has a different combination of activity and relaxation that works and of togetherness and solitude that they need.
We are going to meet for our next Chat, skipping November and resetting our schedule so Chats will more often take place early in the month again. This Chat will focus on how you find the right combination of connection, harmony, and peace, especially creative ideas that we can all learn from.
Jo-Anne Elder will be leading the discussion on “Breaking with Tradition.” We talked about holiday traditions last year, we’ll focus on new traditions you created for your family when your kids were young or for you when your family was grown, or a year when you had a unique experience that took you away from your usual customs.
Our (nearly) monthly online Chats are benefits of your Friends of LLL membership. We’re happy to have you visit our Chat and decide if you’d like to continue attending; if so, please join or renew your membership. Another benefit is our quarterly newsletter, Continuum. The next issue will be released in December. Right now we are looking for someone with experience in layout and design to help with Continuum. We welcome submissions from our members, as well as volunteers to lead our Chats and suggestions for activities or topics.
