Dorothy WILKINSON was one of La Leche League New Zealand’s first Leaders. The first LLL Group was established by Kathleen Peace in Auckland in 1964. Dorothy, along with Shirley Walker and Lavinia Healy became Leaders the following year. The same year Dorothy started a second group in Ellerslie. She acted as secretary-treasurer in the early days and travelled south to help out with the fledging meetings in Pukekohe. Dorothy was a speaker at the mini-Conference held in Hamilton, New Zealand in 1969.
