2018 Mini-Grant: LLL South Africa

LLL Leader Simela Petridou of South Africa received a Mini-Grant to help fund the purchase
and distribution of copies of the latest version of The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding to libraries
throughout the country. The books were ordered for shipping from the United Kingdom and it
was quite an odyssey for the shipment, which was literally on a slow boat. A very slow boat!
But ultimately, libraries throughout South Africa will have copies of this important resource to
help breastfeeding mothers.
